Wales is full of the most wonderful little changes, world events which are rarely given the air time on world news, or the reporting it deserves.
For instance did you know that Wales made a solid declaration of intent about Carbon Footprints ?
It has helpful websites about how to reduce your personal carbon footprint, how to manage a business to do so, grants are available, and the local support networks are vigorous in their actions. So refreshing to be part of such an upwardly mobile decision and implemented scheme. it is an upward drive to continuous efforts to bring the carbon foot print under control. The hopes? carbon footprint of the Welsh Government is to reduce emissions by 40% by the year 2020...an amazing decision and one being fully supported across the country.
With really good websites, excellent resources and some of the most heart stoppingly beautiful scenery in the United Kingdom, Wales deserves a look, a visit and if you wish to be a poet, climb Mount Idris to sit in the Giants Chair, stay and come down a poet.or then again madness is an option so the old tales say.
Rich in stories of wondrous events, the heart and home of King Arthur if you read your history, a proud peoples, a strong community spirit and above all...accessible, its a drive away, its a journey through the most beautiful countryside, dotted here and there with fantastic and beautiful places to sit, to eat, to have a snooze...visit Wales, drop in and have a wlk round Harlech...come to love, Wales as I do.
